Description

High 5 Adventure is seeking a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented individual to join our Challenge Course Services team, focusing primarily on inspections and maintenance work throughout the Northern New England region, while also supporting new installations.

This role plays a key part in ensuring the safety, quality, and longevity of challenge course programs across the region. You’ll conduct annual inspections, perform repairs and upgrades, and collaborate with our installation team on new builds. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in the field, communicates clearly with clients, and enjoys hands-on technical work both at ground level and at height.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

-Conduct annual inspections of traditional indoor and outdoor challenge courses

-Document findings and prepare clear, professional inspection reports

-Perform repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance

-Join the installation team for new course builds and major renovations

-Provide excellent customer service while representing High 5 Adventure

-Maintain a strong commitment to safety and industry standards

Travel Expectations:

-The majority of work is conducted on-site throughout the assigned region

-Regular Monday–Friday travel within the region. There is no weekend work

-Periodic travel outside the assigned region

-Combination of fieldwork and limited remote/administrative work

-Occasional travel to the High 5 office to participate in meetings and support High 5’s culture

Qualifications

The ideal candidate brings experience, technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility. You are someone who:

-Has familiarity with adventure education and challenge course elements

-Has 5 years of experience conducting professional inspections

-Holds – ACCT ICE Level 1, Licensed Inspector in Massachusetts, OSHA 10, lift certification, CPR/First Aid

-Works confidently both independently and as part of a team and is organized, reliable, and solutions-oriented

-Is comfortable working at height using technical rope systems

-Communicates clearly, both written and verbally

-Is comfortable using technology for documentation and reporting

-Holds a bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience

-Resides in, or is willing to relocate to, one of our primary service areas, ideally Maine, Northern New Hampshire, or Central New York.

-Available for regular travel throughout the assigned region, with occasional travel to other areas where High 5 provides services.
