Challenge Course Assistant Installer - High 5
Description

We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and curious individual to join our Challenge Course Services team. This role supports the design, installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of challenge course projects—both large and small.

You’ll work closely with experienced installers, learn industry-specific technical skills, and gain hands-on experience with rope systems, carpentry, cable work, and at-height operations. This position offers career and professional development opportunities that could lead to a Lead Installer position.

What You’ll Do:
-Assist with indoor and outdoor challenge course installations

-Support inspections, repairs, and annual maintenance services

-Help manage equipment, tools, and inventory

-Contribute to a positive, professional, and fun team environment

-Deliver excellent customer service while representing High 5 in the field

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical interest, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn. You are someone who:

-Has familiarity with adventure education and/or challenge course elements

-Works well independently and collaboratively

-Can obtain required certifications (OSHA 10, lift certification, CPR/First Aid)

-Is organized, reliable, and eager to build new skills

-Communicates clearly in writing and verbally; comfortable with basic technology

-Holds a bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience

-Is able and willing to travel extensively Monday–Friday (primarily Northeast region)

-2 weeks a month traveling

-1 week a month commuting from home

-1 week a month of office-based work

-Lives within, or is willing to relocate to, commuting distance of Brattleboro, VT

Is comfortable working at height using technical rope systems
