DESCRIPTION:Aerial Adventure Course Maintenance Training\nAscent Collaborative Services is offering an Open Enrollment Maintenance Training at Flying Rabbit Adventures May 18-20\, 2026 in Greenville\, South Carolina. We will be focusing on maintenance skills that are generic and applicable to all aerial adventure courses. In addition to the basics\, we will be teaching the inspection and maintenance of Kanopeo Safe Roller belay systems. Cost:$750 for 3 day training. \nThis training will build on existing work at height skills\, adding options for work above and below platform heights to accomplish maintenance tasks. Throughout the training we will be including the installation and inspection criteria for the components and elements present. We will be tackling actual maintenance tasks including: \n\nBelay cable tension adjustment\nBelay Bracket alignment and adjustment\nElement adjustment and maintenance\nGuy wire tensioning\nTightening platform hardware\n\nWe will also discuss maintenance compliance\, approval and verification of completed work. \nWhat to expect? \nDay 1 \nStarts with some classroom time discussing compliance\, approvals\, and verification. We will walk through risk management and differences in hazard mitigation and rescue that occur during maintenance. \nWe will then move into work at height systems and procedures and introduce/review some basic rope access and work positioning that will allow us to do some hands-on maintenance lessons. \nDay 2 and 3 \nBuild on our work at height skills while learning the how to’s of maintenance. We will work on different parts of the course to adjust and tension cables and hardware. Throughout our process we will be including the skills and criteria for periodic inspection and completion of maintenance. \nPrerequisites: \n\nWork at height training and experience. This includes guide or operator training and experience that allows staff to move around course without direct supervision. Trainees will need to perform transfers and work on horizontal cable systems including zip lines or other cables.\nTraining and experience performing pre-use/daily and periodic inspections on course.\n\nApplicants will need to provide Resume and Portfolio or Logbook of Challenge course or related experience. \nPlease Apply Here

DESCRIPTION:This immersive 4-day course prepares experienced aerial adventure practitioners to step confidently into trainer roles in both in-house and professional settings. Participants will develop core instructional skills\, planning approaches\, coaching and evaluation strategies. Due to the nature of our training location\, trainees will be introduced to and engage with a variety of technical systems and products. Participants will evaluate their application\, use\, and presence in the three delivery approaches defined by ACCT International Standards (Facilitated\, Guided\, and Self-Guided). The opportunity to engage with peers and professionals in a developmental feedback process is a cornerstone of this training. These skills are vital to the career path progression of becoming a qualified trainer. We are pleased to offer an opportunity for practitioners looking to obtain a Level 2 certification an opportunity to challenge in at Zip Lost Pines in Cedar Creek\, TX October 16th\, 2026.  \nPractitioners interested in a challenge in\, must meet the following criteria and be able to submit a portfolio with supporting documentation for review. This will ensure the practitioner meets the requirements and is able to register for the Level 2 challenge in assessment \nLevel 2 Certification/Recertification/Challenge In Portfolio Requirements  \n\nMust be 21 years of age. \nHold a Level 1 certification.\nPortfolio documenting a minimum of 400 hours diversified experience delivering a variety of programming to include multiple operating systems and delivery approaches.\nTraining received 80 hours minimum with at least 40 hours of training to include advanced concepts (new certification/challenge in) and 24 hours additional for (re-certification).\nAdditional portfolio inclusions can include: installation/inspection experience\, professional affiliations\, other industry related certifications/accreditations\, presentations & publications.\nPractitioner is required to possess all staff competencies listed in the current published version of the ANSI/ACCT 03-2019 Operation standards including: core\, technical\, & interpersonal program management competencies.\nCertain skills must be passed in order to receive certification.\n\n \nPlease include in an electronic format the following: \n\nCurrent Resume. \nLog of challenge course or canopy zip/line tour or other related training hours attended.\nCopies of Certificates\, Syllabi\, or course outlines that reflect training’s attended & the content covered.\nLog of Program delivery hours.\n\nAssessment requirements: \n\nMinimum 80% on written knowledge test.\nPass a practical skills test at 100%.\n\nCosts: $325.00 for the testing event (lunch included).  \nBunkhouse lodging is available for an additional fee. \nAPPLY HERE
